Each year beneath the gilded chandeliers of The Standard’s grand ballroom, Shindig Mafia invites you to welcome the New Year in roaring fashion. Elegance and revelry go hand-in-hand as this magnificent 1840’s townhome sets the stage for a night of champagne, live music, and dancing.
This year's attendance doubled as The New Year's Eve Soiree At The Standard quickly became known as the classiest, most exclusive, and friendliest way to celebrate the new year in historic Nashville, besides being a welcome alternative to getting lost in the 150,000 person throng on Lower Broadway.
Particularly magical this year was the recognition of the NYE birthdays of identical twins and the unforgettable, spontaneous wedding proposal on the dance floor!
The Willies, veterans of the American underground and the embodiment of the rough and tumble legacy of 1920’s swing and blues, kept everyone dancing until midnight.
NOVEMBER 7, 2015 - THE ANNUAL USO BIG BAND BASH
This November Shindig Mafia throws its biggest party to date, transporting you to one of America's most iconic eras. Show off your best World War II attire while you dance among 170 historic automobiles to the brassy sound of The Willies. In the spirit of the era all ticket sales will be supporting the mission of the USO locally, including a silent auction, featuring Justin Timberlake's personally donated 2015 CMA performance guitar. The USO’s support of the families and morale of US soldiers has always been synonymous with the legacy of the 1940s. Let’s make history together.

Make your way down shadowy Printer’s Alley, whisper the password, and experience a night of fine dining, craft cocktails, live music, blues dancing, and burlesque.
In 1948 Skull’s Rainbow Room opened in Nashville’s notorious Men’s Quarter, filled with gambling, women, and booze. Recently reopened after 17 years, this authentic speakeasy returns with the allure of fine dining and artisan cocktails.

Nashville's oldest private club, The Standard, has invited the city's dancers to this exclusive event! Built in 1843, The Standard is the only grand townhouse remaining in downtown Nashville. For over 100 years Nashville's most prominent citizens have networked here.
So flaunt your flappers and boas, or sport your suspenders and bow ties, and participate in the first dance of its kind in Nashville!
SPEAKEASY SWING, our weekly vintage swing dance featuring live bands, is postponed as we search for a new venue. We are proud of 25 straight weeks collaborating with Rudy's Jazz Room. It attracted the best swing dancers locally and nationally. We are looking forward to continuing this popular night as soon as possible!

Shindig Mafia's New Year's Eve Soirée
Our third annual New Year's Eve party sold out at 300 revelers! The Standard, an 180 year old mansion, transported everyone to the turn of the 19th century and the height of the jazz age. The Willies, dressed in tuxes and gowns, were equal parts classy and rowdy, keeping feet stomping nonstop to "Minnie the Moocher" and "Auld Lang Syne." If you want to attend the classiest (and rowdiest) New Year's Eve party in the South, we'll see you next year.

The Big Band Bash returns!
Our band that rocked our socks off last year is back to do it again! The Willies is ridiculously entertaining with insane energy that will leave your toes tapping.
The silent auction has unique and incredible items that will tempt everyone and delight their lucky winner. Come prepared to do some holiday shopping!
We'll have photo opportunities that you cannot get anywhere else! So come dressed to impress - and take the opportunity to dress in 1940s fashion if you'd like! There will be food and drinks and so much dancing! This is a swinging good time! The USO Big Band Bash is presented by Delta Air Lines!

We wanted to have a good ol'fashioned house party, but no one has a living room big enough to host our big Mafia family. HAHAHA So, we did the next best thing. Katti Foster has generously allowed us access to her awesome studio.... which happens to have a massive open dance floor.

NOVEMBER 1, 2015 - THE MASQUERADE AT SKULL'S
Back by popular demand, Shindig Mafia returns to Skull's to celebrate its 1-year anniversary, a Day of the Dead among the liveliest of the living. The Mafia invites you in for dinner and drinks, cleaning out the cobwebs to a DJed set of minimalistic neo-soul artists such as Banks, James Blake, and The Weeknd. For one night, Shindig Mafia is taking a step back from Prohibition, toasting the future with a modern masquerade.
